Nodes

Nodes are the building blocks of DTonomy Security Automation.

Every node takes input and generates output.

There are four types of Nodes.

  • Input Node

The input node could be an inject node or a http end point. Through inject Node, you can trigger automation once or periodically.

  • Output Node

The output node determines where you want to output results. It could be return through http response or output to debug window or no output.

  • Third Party Action Node

Third party action node are integrations with third party application.

  • Utility Function Node

Utility functions node are common functionalities used by security team such as parse ip, calculate hash.

Every node takes an input and generates an output.

Workflow

A workflow starts with input node. Through input node, you can configure how do you like to run the automation. By connecting nodes together, you can create a workflow that runs automatically.

Playbooks

A playbook is a template of workflows that are prebuilt. You can drag the playbook to canvas to form a workflow that can run.
